Explanation and listing of station tables

Station tables are database tables with time-independent information describing the location and characteristics of monitoring stations or other features related to water resources.

Station tables are required for the

STATIONS - original station table from WIS / dvs_data.

RainStat - complete list of rainfall stations (codes, names, coordinates) extracted from WIS.

T_exclude - codes of rainfall stations to be excluded from modelling because of unreliability of recording.

bigproxy - table imported from GIS containing the distances between all stations

T_proxy_virtuals - derived from table bigproxy, sorted distances from virtual to neighboring stations.

ClimStat - list of all meteorological stations (codes, names, coordinates) used by the model

StData_db - table containing time-independent physical parameters for the calculation of Penman Evapotranspiration.

RainStat - complete list of rainfall stations (codes, names, coordinates) from WIS

ClimStat - list of all meteorological stations (codes, names, coordinates) used by the model

mbasins - codes and areas of main surface water basins required for verification of the model.

T_Mbasins - like mbasins, but codes only

T_Stations - list of codes of wadi gauging stations with floodflow records

T_WE_all - parameters of "wadi endpoints" required for transferring model results on reservoir inflows.

The name of the linked station tables, the database they are residing in and the module for which they are used is defined in table T_Links. In a further improvement of the model, internally stored data tables need to be shifted to external databases.
