Definition of Perennial Crops

For a proper planning of irrigation requirements, not only the monthly demands but also the monthly areas are important. The areas are stored just a single value for one crop group at an irrigation center. The program assumes, that the area is zero if irrigation demand is zero (i.e. the crop is either not yet planted or already harvested). This assumption can not be valid for perennial crops, which cover the same area throughout the year.
